About our story
We created Chichester Secure Dog Activity Park after many years of living with our own much-loved, but sometimes unpredictable dog. Like many owners, we often struggled to find safe places where he could truly relax and enjoy the freedom to run off lead without worry.
We know first-hand how stressful it can be when your dog feels anxious, reactive, or overwhelmed around other dogs or new environments. Finding somewhere safe for them to exercise and simply enjoy being a dog can sometimes feel impossible.
That’s why we created Chichester Secure Dog Activity Park & Training Centre a calm, secure space where dogs and their owners can relax and enjoy time together.
Whether your dog prefers their own space, is sensitive to scents, reactive around other dogs, or simply enjoys quiet one-to-one time, our park allows them to explore, play and exercise safely while giving owners complete peace of mind.
Because every dog deserves the freedom to run, play and enjoy life safely.

When creating our vision for Chichester Secure Dog Activity Park, we were determined not to design a simple, bland paddock. Instead, we wanted to create a natural, stimulating and enriching environment for both our customers and their dogs.
Protecting and enhancing the landscape of our secure dog park is extremely important to us. Our aim is not only to provide a safe and secure space for dogs to exercise, but also to support and protect the native wildlife that surrounds us.
Situated next to a nature reserve, we have been working with the Manhood Wildlife and Heritage Group to help increase biodiversity in the area. As part of this work, we will be planting over 150 native trees and shrubs both within and around the secure dog park.
Our meadow area encourages wildlife such as lizards, butterflies, bees and other insects.

Tree Planting December 2019
"We planted trees made up of many native tree species: oak, field maple, hazelnut, rowan, crab apple, wild cherry, hawthorn, blackthorn, dogwood, elderberry, spindle, willow and green beech. This will create highly rich flower and fruiting hedges for wildlife as well copse areas within the field as they grow bigger."

Tree Planting with North Mundham Primary School January 2020
We hosted several children from the local primary school in our secure dog field who planted a small orchard including, apple, cherry and pear trees. Over the years these will provide a vital food source for birds, mammals and maybe the odd human too!
